AIBU to think there is some weird shit in these books?!

In Fox's Socks that mouse is clearly gaslight poor old Fox - it's obvious SHES the one that his all his clothes in the first place.

And as for Postman Bear, he can go to all his friends' houses to push a demanding letter through the door ("Come to my party" is the rudest invite I've ever heard!) but can't be arsed to just knock and invite them in person?!

Don't get me started on Hide and Seek Pig, the denouement of which is very reminiscent of the film Se7en...

Am I sleep just sleep deprived or does anyone else find these books bizarre?
Or are there any other baby books that drive you mad?

Never seen Se7en but Hide and Seek Pig is surely the least annoying??

Also, I give you 10 Little Super Heroes which then goes on to refer to them as Super Kids. And has soooo much more text than the others in the series it loses its simple flow and appeal.
