So what's all this about? I usually leave it to my hubby to sort out any important mail. Someone left a flyer about registering to vote on a Sunday morning whilst we were out.

I spoke to my hubby and he said he has handed the form in but only a few days ago. I just checked and he must have sent the reminder letter as I have seen the original letter dated in July in his stack of letters!

So should I call up or leave it. I can do it online but would that cause more confusion if he has sent it in? I don't want to a fine. The flyer itself seemed jolly enough - we called and missed you please contact us.

Will we lose our vote?

If he only registered online recently it's likely the system hasn't caught up yet. I had similar last year. The Council chappie told me to fill in his form as well just to make sure. I certainly got a polling card for the Council elections so one of them worked!
Give them a ring - it can't do any harm.

Posted it in. Didn't register online, but I have the original letter with the pass codes can I use that?
