Do people actually get paid to be Facebook trolls? Is it an actual job?

I've submitted an angry but factual, not rude at all, post on a (large) travel company's Facebook page about their dreadful customer service and refusal to refund me for something I did not receive and have had several posts from people querying odd stuff which doesn't relate to my problem and is very antagonistic which very much appears to be trying to get me to retaliate (basically implying I'm stupid and confused) I'm assuming so that they can then say "see she's unreasonable". I'm absolutely gobsmacked that this is a thing! I can only assume the company pays these people as I can see no other reason for them to comment or ask the questions they have? Is this an actual job? Has the world really gone THAT mad?

They just get their kicks out of being foul. Totally ignore the pots and focus on your complaint, preferably off Facebook. Email the CEO directly, often works
