To do a IT/Computer Science degree?

I'm really interested in IT, programming etc. I'm 29, and really want to do a degree and this is the only thing that interest me. It's a three year course, so I know I'll be able to do it.

Would love to hear from people who's got a IT degree, especially women. I'd imagine I'm going to be one of few women in the class. I have one 5 year old DD btw, dad live close and is very involved so no problem with childcare.

I can own up to having an it degree.
How much programming have you done?

I have an IT degree. When I did mine 20 years ago there were 4 females vs. 44 males.

How much programming and maths have you done previously? While my degree didn't require A level maths, I think it would have helped me greatly to have that background.
