I'd like to have a go at making clothes for my DC but have no idea where I would source good quality fabric from. Any help?!

Don't you have any local fabric shops?

You can get fabric online.

Kailuna Fabrics stock a lot of the patterns that pop up on the instagram businesses.

See me Sunshine is a lovely online fabric store & she uses her Instagram to show new fabrics in stock - she's part of a v lovely insta sewing community.

Etsy is good for fabric.

Don't forget charity shops if you're after something a bit different. I volunteer in a charity shop and we get a lot of fabric in - lots of it very retro. Lots of suit fabric - of course you don't have to make another suit, it could be an amazing skirt or bag or something.

Also if you're nifty with a needle buy a dress or something and make it into a blouse or skirt.

Mostly eBay. There are so many online fabrics. Online Places I’ve bought from inc. Truro fabrics, Croft mill, shaukut for liberty fabrics and Abakan fabrics.
