Just had a telephone interview tith this wonderfully strange lady with a foreign accent (relevant on two levels). So. She's telling me all about the fabulous lady I'' be working for, absolutely amazing, a beautiful person etc..
Then she comes out with 'The one thing I need to know though is have you any experience of the stage?'

Pause.

Not to be knocked out at such a minor question, I am going through my 6th class play starring moi as Snow White, the very many conversations I've had with myself in the mirror interviewing me for a whole range of performances, fuck it, I was in the theater 2 months ago!

Yes, I say. Absolutely. 'Did you say the stage?'
Eh yes, Sage, ze accounting package.

Although I'm terrified of going on stage, so I'd see Sage as preferable!

I actually thought for about 20 seconds I was going to be PA to some eccentric actress. Awful sad.

Now, PA to an eccentric actress sounds like a wonderful job! All the excitement with none of the scary stuff.

😂😂 that’s hilarious! Also, if it helps Sage is literally the simplest ‘accounting package’ there is. If you’ve experience with a more complex billing system, then it’s relatively easy to self-teach.
