Following some very hurtful and uncalled for comments I’ve been NC with my father for 4 years. Yesterday I told my mother I would not be attending their Golden wedding celebrations. Today they contact me and after much upset and heated discussion my father finally conceded that he was wrong to say what he did. I’ve been left feeling pretty rubbish though. It all seems down to the fact that they want to appear to have “the perfect” family infront of their friends 😟.
