After googling the Redwoods I have no words!!!!!

The Pluralpride hashtag is being used by the Dissociative Identity Disorder community. It has nothing to do with the trans debate .

DID is a genuine mental health condition .

The thing is, DID is a very controversial diagnosis in itself, is it not? So for it to be appropriated and minimised (I say “minimised” because once you give a serious psychiatric disorder a “-pride” hashtag and conflate it with transgenderism, I think you’re minimising it) with talk of “oppression” and “singlet-normativity” is really fucking bizarre.

If we accept that we live in a singlet-normative society and those with only one personality needs to check their privilege, where does it end?

But what about the ordinary young people who are genuinely struggling with their identity? Why are you posting about extremes in an attempt to stir up shit?
