The consultation on whether to allow any man to self identify as a woman closes at 11pm tomorrow. If we allow this to happen, we will never be able to put the genie back in the bottle when more women and girls are harmed.

Sarah I was speaking to a solicitor earlier and she said that they never translate consultations. But I am sure if you go back to the group and tell them it's been extended maybe some of the younger women can help them.

I had no idea that this was happening right now and am especially hacked off to read that from @morningtoncrescent62 that the equivalent consultation in Scotland happened at the start of the year, closing in March.

I have filled in the one click and have passed it on to friends and am also relieved to see that the deadline has been extended to midday 22 October - well spotted @UpstartCrow!

It gives me a bit more time to explain to friends and relatives because this is a massive issue.

Apart from a few medically certified people the only person with a penis to ever see my now frail 84 year old mother in her nightie is her husband.

She would be so ashamed and shocked if she woke up in hospital with a man in the bed beside hers.

Should she and the millions like her have their feelings and values completely disregarded just in case a tiny minority decide to be offended now?
