Ocado

On 4/10 we had an Ocado delivery, first in a while because I was after something quite specific.

The total order came to just under £90 and I paid by Apple Pay. In the middle of the night for some reason I got an notification on my phone to say that the payment had been refunded.

I didn’t hear anything from Ocado so I left it for a week. Called them last week. Had a call back today to say I needed to add payment details to my account and click to pay.

I already had payment details but I added some new ones just in case (another account) but there was nowhere to add the payment to the order.

I called them again and they are continuing to investigate this. Would I be right not to chase them again?

They've done this to me before. They then refused to deliver to me until I added more payment details to the order - there were always some there - and eventually took payment when I placed a different order.

It hadn't happened before or since though, so I've mostly forgiven them!

Thanks for letting me know Anchor, thing is I hadn’t intended on using them again as my smart pass runs out soon. So frustrating.

I had an issue last week where the Apple Pay option disappeared from the App. It was back the next day but was very strange.
