I ordered some clothes from H&M last week. Wore one of tops for the first time today, had a cardigan over it. Just realised there’s a big pull across the front of the fabric. I’m sure I haven’t caused it, but in fairness I was in a rush when I got ready for a meeting and didn’t look at it closely.

Should I return it? I’ve never returned something I’ve worn before and it feels bad, but it’s obviously damaged / very easily damaged (I haven’t caught it on anything).

To return this?

you wrote I’m sure I haven’t caused it, so YANBU to return it.

That would be very difficult to miss before you put it on.

Maybe for you - I had ten minutes to get my twins down for a nap and out of the house to a meeting! It was still in the wrapper, folded - I opened it, pulled the tag off, chucked it on, put a cardigan over it and left. The colour is darker than it appears - if it was lighter I might have spotted it, but honestly I didn’t really look at it closely (should have done!).

Even if I did cause it, I definitely didn’t catch it on anything so it really shouldn’t pull that easily that it’s wrecked in a few hours without an obvious accident. But like I say I’m torn because I’ve never returned anything worn before and it feels wrong

Similar thread just a few weeks ago.

Don’t remember the outcome.

Thanks, I’ll see if I can find it. I rarely ever return anything so I’m not even sure if they’d take back something that’s been worn.
