We took DSC to away in May and it rained the whole time 😢 kids were bored and frustrated, DP was stressed and I was 7 months pregnant 😣 now DD is born we are taking them to Turkey next week and guess what's forecasted.... rain! 😭

I haven't told DP yet because I'll have a week on moods, we've just paid £600 for oxygen on the plane for DD.

AIBU to cry every day before we go so I have no more tears to cry when we're away?

Biggest stinger is DSC mom is away at the same time and it's 30 degrees where they're going 😩

Try not to worry. I felt the same when it forecast thunder and rain for 4/5 days. When we got there it only showered once.

Awww bloody hell. The same thing happened to us when we Majorca back in 2003. Weather was dire. The ironic thing is at the exact same time over here there was a heat wave.!
I went with my dd mum and my sister.
My mum used to joke and say to me and my sister "You pair brought the bleeding rain with you from England"

You're taking your o2 kid on a plane, you're already my hero. Miner's only been to Wales haha.

Check out the resort, what is there to do indoors? How old are the kids?

Cry away, but get some chocolate in to go with it xx

I think you should tell your DP before you go, it will give him time to have a strop about it and lower his expectations in time for next week, so that when you are there, if it rains, it won’t be unexpected.
Hopefully like a PP says you will get the odd shower and that’s it. Definitely use this week to research indoor activities or attractions you can visit so that you are not at a loss for things to do with the kids should it be wanging it down
