I know I’ve only had it in for two bastarding weeks, but I’ve bled continuously since then, ranging from mild light to very light. Fucking fucked off. I’ve also had mild cramps since and every time I think the bleeding has stopped, I get cramps and it’s back!!

Also, I swear my hair is greasier than before. Blegh!

Sorry you went through that @RosaNullaSpina sounds awful. I know what it's like to be that severely anaemic, it's absolutely awful. Wouldn't wish it on anyone. Although the ice thing is new to me.

@Amani I'm probably one of a few 😁 I'm holding onto hope that like a period the clots mean it's coming to an end.

Oh dear. Yeah the bloating is awful. But it'll go away soon and you can tell it to fuck off when it's out

I had mine put in under GA on 11 Sept. have bled and spotted the entire time with continuous cramps. Periods (x2 since insertion) have been worse and the pain excruciating. My mojo has gone and friends have said I'm not my usual self. Spots and greasy skin are now a daily occurrence as are night sweats. Fed up with it!

Mine has been a godsend. Had very heavy bleeding due to fibroids. After it was put in I had continuous spotting for about three months, then nothing for the last four years! Its fantastic for me. Libido has returned as I am not on the sofa with a hot water bottle for two weeks out of every 4, plus I could get back in the gym consistently so lost weight.

It doesn't suit all but well worth persisting for a bit because if it does work for you it is brilliant. It has also saved countless women (me included) from having hysterectomy.

@Emmajsy that sounds awful, no surprise you're fed up! Really hope it settles for you soon.

I'm going back to the sexual health clinic ( where I had it fitted) on Thursday to have it out fingers crossed. Had enough of the bleeding and the incessant cramps and now my iron levels are low!
