They cleaned the embassy before they allowed people in after Khashodi went missing. Alarm bells!

It’s certainly suspicious. Also interesting that the Turks apparently have an audio recording of what happened - does this mean they bug foreign embassies?

Efferlunt · 16/10/2018 19:25

Yes I’m sure they brought a forensics expert and an autopsy saw for some totally unrelated reason...

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/10/2018 19:27

Cannot imagine the hell he must have gone through.

FekkoTheLawyer · 16/10/2018 19:27

Is the pope Catholic?
Do bears poo in the woods?

ShirleyPhallus · 16/10/2018 19:28

Of course

Goes up there with all sorts of mysteries of the universe doesn’t it

InspectorIkmen · 16/10/2018 19:29

Dangly - Media reports say that the victim's Apple watch was recording and transmitting. How true that is I do not know but I'm pretty sure they don't bug embassies - and if they did they wouldn't let on!

InspectorIkmen · 16/10/2018 19:30

The missing - presumed murdered - journalist's name is Khashoggi by the way

HolyMountain · 16/10/2018 19:30

Of course they’re lyingHmm.

Saudi Arabia have funded terrorism against other countries and are nasty twats about women.

Those bloody expensive contracts this government from SA so desperately needs will never be turned down .

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 16/10/2018 19:31

No offence OP, but No Shit, Sherlock Grin

malificent7 · 16/10/2018 19:32

Thank you....I forgot how to spell it. For some reason this has really upset me...and the blatant fear of standing up to them by world leaders.

OP posts:
HolyMountain · 16/10/2018 19:34
  • the contracts the British government seeks to maintain from the Arab state; is what I meant to say.
malificent7 · 16/10/2018 19:38

Not just me then! ;-)

I find the whole thing chilling. And that twat POTUS has waved his dick about and condemned the Saudis but stopped short of ceasing trading with them 🙄

Whisky2014 · 16/10/2018 19:39

Always...

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 16/10/2018 19:40

and the blatant fear of standing up to them by world leaders

I think Trump has, maybe not entirely with much forethought, been (and I almost hesitate to use the word) honest, at least more honest than any other world leader, ever, about why.....

Well, I think that would be hurting us," he said to Fox regarding stopping arms sales to Saudi Arabia. "We have jobs. We have a lot of things happening in this country… Part of that is what we are doing with our defense systems and everybody is wanting them and, frankly, I think that would be a very, very tough pill to swallow for our country

Would it be better or worse if our government said something like ‘yeah, we know they’re guilty, but the arms sales man, the arms sales’

percheron67 · 16/10/2018 19:43

This is a horrible thing - i wonder what the ramifications will be. If the Donald gets involved, the situation may become very nasty.

FekkoTheLawyer · 16/10/2018 19:46

He won't because of arms deals, the weasel.

Trump's bezzy mates are a bit shit aren't they?

hackmum · 16/10/2018 19:51

It's not just the arms sales, it's the oil. If we have to buy oil from somewhere else, it will be more expensive, thus pushing up petrol prices and therefore the prices of food (because obviously food is transported in lorries that use petrol). An excellent example of why we should have put more effort into renewable fuels instead of relying on fossil fuels.

FekkoTheLawyer · 16/10/2018 19:58

Amd since he's been screwing with Iran...
