When I pay by card, it prints my name on the bottom?
Why?

Which doesn't bother me, as I know who I am, but it prints my name on the shop receipt too...

Most shops abroad do this

It's a small local shop. The shop across the road from me. It's the only place I've ever been that prints my name on the receipt and I don't like it frankly! Why do they need to know my name?

I’ve noticed it loads of times. It doesn’t bother me at all to be honest. Not sure why they do it though, maybe a means of preventing card fraud? Probably best contacting your bank or credit card company to ask them.
