I've been awake since 3am with all the racket the storm is making

I’m shattered.

And I have stuff to do today that involves travelling I can’t get out of.

Awh boom. Baby cuddles.

Awake very windy and everything is rattling!! I might just get up and make tea now ...

Yep woke me up intermittently through the night (not helpful as I get very little sleep anyway).

Have to walk to work in it in about an hour. Yay!

Feeding the baby listening to the storm and realised I’ve left the pram wheels in the back garden

It's woken me and both the kids, typically DH is snoring through it all!

I went looking for burglars! A bang woke me up, DH is snoring, it was the wheelie bin going over in the back garden.

Woke at 2.40. Not too confident I’ll function today! With some luck mu Office will have blown down overnight and I can stay at home. Or less dramaticly there’s a very big tree on the tracks and so no transport

I had the best sleep in weeks. Lights out at 10.30pm, woke to alarm at 6.15am.

DH has been up since 3am. I slept until 6 but am now been driving mad by all the door slamming. Even the side if the bath is rattling. Boy am I looking forward to walking to work today. Not.

Its wild here in rural West Coast Scotland. I struggled to shut the front door against the wind!

Congratulations on your new baby

The orange warning overnight has been downgraded - not even to yellow but completely gone - on the east coast of Ireland. It's only still in force on the west coast, and it was due to be in place until late afternoon here.

It's windy, and there will be rain later, but there's been a lot worse!
