I know this might not be the ideal place to post but I need impartial advice understanding this , so posting for traffic.

DS came home from school with a letter stating he was selected to be part of the research funded by the Education Endowment Foundation. I have tried reading about it online but did not find any useful info. Before I ask the teacher about it , I would like to know if anyone has heard of it or have had any experience.
Thank you in advance

I believe they provide resources and learning to schools. They create these resources by studying a large amount of children who struggle with a certain aspect of learning (e.g. writing or reading) and then see how the resources they have developed based off the research they have done with the children help said children. It's not necessarily bad, they are just trying to help really.
