...NOT to shake his hands vigorously when he rinses them so that water splats go all up the flippin mirror?? ooooh it's a SMALL thing I know but when the mirror is all splodgy the whole bathroom looks grubby as it's the first thing you see when you walk in. I am not the houseproud type and HATE housework so when I do manage to get something clean it would be SO easy to keep it that way just by NOT SHAKING HIS BLOOMIN HANDS! He says he can't help it, it's a habit and he forgets. ARGH

I think I need more sleep, minutiae seems to be bothering me today.

Can't you tell him that if he keeps doing it he will have to clean the mirror?

griffintribe · 14/06/2007 10:39

I totally understand, my dh doesn't make the bed, all it takes is pulling duvet up straight, and i could kill him for it some days

sparkybabe · 14/06/2007 10:42

You think you've got it bad - i got 3 boys, all well trained to put the seat down. Problem is that they spray everywhere, all over the underneath of the ring (and down the walls) and I don't notice it untill it's yellow and crusty and smells!

My dh splashes water on the kitchen floor when he washes up (very rare though) but it bugs me - how can you wash a pan and then turn around to dry it so all the drips go on the floor? I always do it over the draining board.

sparkybabe...oh NOOOOOO eerrgghhhh!! Joys of that yet to come, ds is 2.6 and likes doing stand-up wees. Oh goody.

It's the small things that bother, isn't it? That just a second of thought would sort out. Big stuff like leaving the kitchen in devastation after making a sandwich isn't so bad. But dripping/spraying/flicking/pulling a duvet is just so EASY.

hm, am clearly still in a grump. Sorry everyone. Need to take self in hand and make a g&t.
