Definite meal rut here.

It’s me, DH and 3 DC aged 6, 4 and 2. We eat together in the evenings - it’s important to us.

Family favourites have been lots of the obvious stuff like spag bog, chilli, sausage and mash, lasagne etc. However, DH has stomach issues and is struggling to eat mince, chicken or sausages at the moment.

I’d welcome any ideas about what your family like. Bonus points for stuff that I can put on and forget about (like spag bog), for recipes, for pasta ideas and for anything using fish because we ought to eat it more often.

Pasta: various veggie lasagnes, pasta bakes, cannelloni, macaroni cheese, seafood linguini, tortellini, old reliable pesto pasta.

Fish: salmon with pesto, veg, baby potatoes, fish pie, fish cakes, cod/salmon with fajita seasoning, spicy rice and veg.

It might be worth trying a few veggie dishes - quiche, frittata, omelettes, various tarts/pies that can be served with veg/potato/salad. I find Pinterest good for ideas.
