We visited a few years ago and had an extra bedroom. Same again this year so wondering...could we do it?!!

I know many people will think I am BU for considering it!

Could and should are not the same thing.....

petalsandstars · 10/10/2018 09:41

If you have an extra bedroom for the number of people going then just ring up and add an extra person on. No sneaking required.

Padparadscha · 10/10/2018 09:43

If you sneak someone in, your not only being dishonest, taking revenue from the company, you’re also potentially putting that person in danger. On the minimum chance the place is on fire, for example, they wouldn’t know to look for them. Or if they had an accident on site, no insurance would paid out for them as they’re actually trespassing. Otherwise it’s between you and your conscious.

Padparadscha · 10/10/2018 09:44

You’re not your...

Titsywoo · 10/10/2018 09:44

There was a big thread about this earlier this year. Most said YWBU to do this.

OP this is Mumsnet where everyone is a paragon of virtue.

I was there only a few weeks ago and I think you pay for the lodge rather than the amount of guests?

WineAndTiramisu · 10/10/2018 09:45

Yes, one group drives in, gets the car sticker, drives back out with less people, comes back with extra.

However whether you should or not is another matter!

bluesky45 · 10/10/2018 09:51

You pay for the lodge so you can just ring them up and get extras added on. If they aren't named then they can't do any activities and you can't book a restaurant for the whole group or hire bikes out. So they would just have to swim and walk and stay in the lodge. You may as well make the phone call, it doesn't cost any extra, we did it this year.

Titsywoo · 10/10/2018 09:51

You can drop people off before you get to security and they can just walk through. We went by train in August and the cab dropped us before the security lodge and we walked through and noone said anything.

sleepless19 · 10/10/2018 09:53

If you've already paid for the lodge/villa, just phone up and add extra people to the booking. It won't cost you anymore so need to be sneaky about it

Doyoumind · 10/10/2018 09:59

I don't understand why you could. As PP said you wouldn't be able to book anything for them to do while they are there. If you have a room for them, add them to the booking. I think when people have sneaked in before it's been because they were bringing in more people than there were beds.

Doyoumind · 10/10/2018 10:00

*would not could

TomHardysNextWife · 10/10/2018 10:02

You pay for the villa not the amount of people in it as far as I recall.

And it's a bit shitty to do.............

MTBMummy · 10/10/2018 10:03

You don't need to sneak anyone in, just call them up and add a guest, I did this for my mum and her partner, think it cost us £30 for both of them for the week.

busybarbara · 10/10/2018 10:08

As other people say you don't need to as it doesn't add to the cost. But yes you could in theory do it. We often sneak extra people into hotels when they only let us book a double room for two adults and two children as I'm not paying for a second room for my teenagers when they can sleep on the floor.

BobLemon · 10/10/2018 10:18

Two in the boot and one in the rear footwell.
