What type of friend are you?

Just that really. How would you describe yourself truthfully?

Flaky but worth it.

Fiercely loyal.
Strong shoulder to lean on.
Soft-hearted, but not a mug.
Often comedic.
Sometimes brutally (but always lovingly) honest.
Can be ornery, but acknowledge it.

Anxious. Loyal. A feeder. Funny. Harsh.

The type everyone should have and nobody should be.

A giver of everything, you can have the shirt from my back.

A bit wary at first.
Happy to help out and listen but not willing to get involved in drama.
Friendly and accommodating but only if there’s give and take.
A little over-sensitive, but I try to keep it hidden for fear of being seen as ‘hard work’.
Loyal, trustworthy and hate to let people down or upset them.
Very guarded with my personal thoughts.
Quite detached from most and close to a very select few!

I am always scared of over-investing in others emotionally, as I’ve been hurt a few times when I’ve realised that the friendship means more to me than it does to them. I struggle tbh, although I don’t think people realise quite how much as I have a pretty easy-going, upbeat and fun nature.

I am loyal, trustworthy and I expect the same back.
I am lucky to have a few around me. I am also fussy. But worth it hopefully.

A bit cold.
Hard to get to know.
Funny.
Loyal but no one really knows because don’t let them close.

Generous, flaky but practical, bad at texting, people-pleaser, good at plans, funny, kind.

Loyal - I have several friends from over 25 years ago.

Good at keeping in touch and organising social stuff.

Chatty and upbeat. Will rarely burden you with my problems with the exception of a good MIL rant

Sometimes flaky but only because I say yes to too many things, not because I'm fundamentally unreliable.

I sometimes offend people (even good friends) by putting my foot in it. I'll try to make it up to you if I do!

Not very touchy feely but will give you a hug if you need one.

People pleaser, very reliable. Contrary, loyal, but also anxious, and over think situations meaning I can lack confidence in a relationship.

A periphery friend (ie I'm never part of the in crowd) but hugely loyal, forgiving, and willing to pick up on drifted friendships 20 years on. Won't be used. Hopefully a radiator and not a drain.

A bit odd and self-centred but generally kind and eager to help if possible with life's ups and downs. Really emotionally insensitive from time to time and not very clued up on appropriate social behaviour (see earlier comment re oddness). Probably considered an oversharer.

I think that makes me a sad loser 😂

Drop anything at any time, spending hours listening to your problems, loyal, protective, fair, honest with no bullshit.

I regularly get told by my closest friends that I am the most dependable friend they have and am always their "go to" person if they need advice or the shit has hit the fan.

Unfortunately I find some friends don't return the favour and take the piss. They soon get weeded out.

Dedicated and loyal to my close friends as I don't have many.
