I'll start.

AIBU to be pissed off with my recluse sister?

My sister is an introvert to the point where she won't even speak to me anymore. We live together but I literally don't see her from one day to the next and TBH I'd like a bit of company. Also it's bloody cold in our house, especially walking past DSis room, anyone got any recommendations for portable heaters? Preferably from John Lewis.

I'm having a lot of trouble with the benefit system. I've just had a major heart attack and I'm too ill to work. I've been a carpenter all my life and never been any good at paperwork and can't use a computer. Can anyone tell me how to appeal and where the nearest food bank is?

I've fallen for someone. He's the one who'd be the hero in a movie - good looking, talents, popular, good looking... Everything I'm not in other words. He finally noticed me and it turns out we get on really well and when we work together we're fantastic. Well ok, not fantastic but better then I ever thought I'd do. The problem is everyone thinks we shouldn't work together. My family are old fashioned and would lock me in a nunnery if they could but his family know what they're about. His friends too. They would be horrified. So my question is: should we carry on regardless and risk pissing everyone off?

@Binglebong

I'm not convinced I'm right as you'd be missing some vital points, but it might fit... A walk to remember?

Binglebong · 13/10/2018 21:10

No, but a good film.Smile

Fiffyshadesofgreymatter · 13/10/2018 21:14

I recently found out my DP was cheating so I kicked him out, and to make up for the rent I got a new flat mate. It was brilliant when she first moved in, we really hit it off and she helped me move on from my ex. But she's actually really clingy, she always wants to do everything together and has even got a haircut exactly the same as mine! I've actually started to see my ex again too, and she was angry with me at first but now appears to fancy him herself! WIBU to tell her to move out?

Aibu to think this relationship will last? The other week I was caught up in a terrorist plot. There was a bomb placed on the bus I take everyday. There was this guy who really took charge and saved us. Everyone else on the bus was a bit pathetic but the guy and I managed to drive the whole bus to safety, the ordeal went on for ages and once we were all safe, he and I snogged. He’s amazing and feels the same about me, but everyone keeps saying it won’t last?

Binglebong · 13/10/2018 21:52

Speed Daffodils.

Bunchofdaffodils · 13/10/2018 22:22

After an unfortunate event in my home town I have had to leave my job as a teacher. To be honest I was never really happy trying to teach history & politics to vapid teens.

Recently one of my former pupils has joined my company and as luck would have a vacancy has opened up in a junior leadership position. AIBU to give my ex-pupil the position without any formal process? I thought I could always replace him if I find someone better.
