I'll start.

AIBU to be pissed off with my recluse sister?

My sister is an introvert to the point where she won't even speak to me anymore. We live together but I literally don't see her from one day to the next and TBH I'd like a bit of company. Also it's bloody cold in our house, especially walking past DSis room, anyone got any recommendations for portable heaters? Preferably from John Lewis.

AIBU

I’m married but I’m bored. We gave no sex life and I’m pretty sure he masturbates when he takes a shower.

I live on a lovely street in a lovely house with a well looked after garden and I have some lovely gay neighbours but I’m so frustrated in life.

I have a teenage daughter who is a spoilt brat and incredibly ungrateful. She’s just started dating the weird kid who lives next door and he’s always filming her for some reason.

Work hasn’t been going so well lately but my competitor is so hot and I think he fancies me too. I have images of us booking into nasty hotels for sex during the afternoons and I think it’s just what I need.

AIBU to consider it or should I stay faithful to my DH and suburban life?

thighofrelief · 10/10/2018 23:10

I'm really, really, really overweight and not that pretty either. I'm a really lovely person and finally i think I've found the one. He truly thinks I'm the sexiest and slimmest woman ever!

TulipsInBloom1 · 10/10/2018 23:11

CoolCarrie · 10/10/2018 23:14

Bingle is it The Lady Vanishes?

CoolCarrie · 10/10/2018 23:20

I met a interesting but intense man on public transport the other day. We chatted about this and that, I mentioned about the problem I was having getting a divorce from my wife, he talked about the problems he was having with his father.
Now my wife has been murdered and everyone thinks it was me! AIBU to think he may have had something to do with it?

Binglebong · 10/10/2018 23:21

It is indeed Cool.

I know yours but can't remember the name.

My father has recently accepted a new job, as the head teacher for a very exclusive school. I am staying in the area where the school is based, with an old friend of the family. Her nephew has been hanging around and appears to be very charming. But I have been warned (by a very trusted friend also) that he is a total cad and I should steer clear. I recently did an interview where I stated my very clear intent not to have sex before I was in a really commited relationship but the more time I spend with this most handsome devil, the more I think that the connection between us is a once in a lifetime happening and that I should follow my heart.
Would I be unreasonable to go back on my vow of chastity and allow myself to be swept into his arms, like my heart (and other areas) are urging me to do?

IamPickleRick · 10/10/2018 23:26

Strangers on a train!

IamPickleRick · 10/10/2018 23:28

Room101 I loved that film when I was a teenager. Cruel intentions!

randomwoman123 · 10/10/2018 23:32

Room101 is it that French film about the sex-mad princess? Lots of blood and greasy hair involved?

Room101isWhereIUsedtoLive · 10/10/2018 23:49

@IamPickleRick yes cruel intentions. I watched it again recently and it has aged a bit badly but the ending is still quite fabulous.

@randomwoman123 yes the film I posted yesterday is La Reine Margot. Gory but also really passionate and think all of the actors were amazing in it.

randomwoman123 · 11/10/2018 00:03

OK, so I work in childcare. During a brief spell of unemployment I responded to an ad for a post in a big city, I fitted all the criteria and then some, blew away the competition.

So these poor kids were out of control due to largely absent parents (their DF is something big in the financial sector and their DM is into politics).

Anyway, I've sorted the kids' behavioural problems with my unique music-based child-rearing techniques. But their DF is very controlling and disputes my methods. AIBU to tell him to go fly a kite?

randomwoman123 · 11/10/2018 00:06

Room101 I will have to watch it again. I think I've only ever watched half of it, with my mum, as a teenager... maybe I need to return to it with a more mature mindset!

AwdBovril · 11/10/2018 00:27

123 - Mary Poppins

No-one got mine yet - sorry I got delayed coming back to thread, someone asked for a clue:

The army I joined - well it was a bit of a crusade really. Strange to think that I come back from that, to find that my homeland has been taken over by a devil-worshipper.

randomwoman123 · 11/10/2018 00:41

That's right Bovril, too easy ! No idea about yours though.

safariboot · 11/10/2018 01:04

@AwdBovril yours has me stumped too. But I've got a hunch the characters aren't human?

RomanyRoots · 11/10/2018 01:10

Awd

Star Wars

thighofrelief · 11/10/2018 02:12

I'm a spoiled and lazy man. I don't work because I'm living off some royalties from a song my father wrote. Recently this teenaged boy has decided to befriend me, I'm really not into this situation it will cramp my style. His mum is a hippy wack job who bakes her own bread and sings Roberta Flack to herself. Poor kid is such a target for bullies.

Room101isWhereIUsedtoLive · 11/10/2018 06:52

Awd Robin Hood Prince of Thieves?
