To make a joke...

....about my husband on Facebook? One of our friends made a joke about my husband, I went along with it and commented back something funny. It wasn't a cruel or mocking joke but my husband has said he's sick of me doing this and poking fun out of him, I don't think I do this very often at all. This particular friend is known to make jokes and it's all light hearted fun but am I in the wrong or is my husband being over sensitive? I said i didn't know what else to say to the comment, he said I should have just ignored it..

How would you like it if he and a friend were sniggering about you? You wouldnt. Apologise to him.

Well, I think the generally accepted position is that no one has the right to make fun of anyone and that if the person you're moving says it's upsetting, then it's upsetting and should be stopped.

*mocking, not moving. Sigh.

if the person you're mocking says it's upsetting, then it's upsetting and should be stopped.

This is the key bit. Don't expect him to tell you how he feels in future, or give a shit how you feel, if you don't respect his feelings on this.
