AIBU to throw the phone into the swimming pool?

Monday afternoons my kids have swimming lessons, one after the other, so it isn't my favourite time of the week anyway what with all the waiting around and wet feet etc, BUT I am sitting here, chatting to my DD, her reading a little bit, me trying to relax and the woman next to me is watching videos on Facebook FULL VOLUME, that stupid tingly tangly music that I could well do without. WHY? Watch them silently, I am 30cm from you and I'm not enjoying this noise. WIBU to grab her phone and throw it over the barrier into the swimming pool? (Light-hearted but I would love to do it).

I once threw someone's phone out the window when they wouldn't turn off YouTube when I wanted to sleep in the brothel! Needless to say I did have my nuggets taken

Same at our pool. No phones allowed poolside. Assume ypu cant move furthwr away so have you tried asking her politely to turn the volume down or using headphones. Some people just don't think and a polite request can actually work.

Yes she should be more considerate of others around her but if you don't ask her to modify her behaviour as it is affecting you then she will continue as she assumes no one will mind
