To ask for bean to cup coffee machine recommendations?

DH has expressed that he would like a bean to cup coffee machine. Currently we don’t have a coffee machine of any description, just a cafetière, but he doesn’t drink coffee much plus works all day so I think max if would be 1-2 cups per day.

He likes a black amaricano and occasionally an espresso. He loves tea.

I don’t drink tea or coffee. I do like hot chocolate but not sure these machines make a hot choclate.

Thing is I don’t want to spend a lot. If I could get one for less than £200 that would be fab but I’d probably pay up to about £300 if need be...

It would be a Christmas gift.

The De'Longhi Magnifica would be great - got a steam wand if you ever need milk warming but fabulous for black coffee/americano.

We've had the Delonghi Caffe Corso since April. It is used every day and so easy to clean. The coffee is delicious, we use Lavazzo Rossa beans.

Thanks both I was thinking maybe a DeLonghi one as they seem quite reasonably priced but there seem to be so many!

The DeLonghi one I bought DH for his 30th is absolutely the best present I’ve managed for him, I’m afraid it’s about 5 or 6 years old now so the model won’t help you. I spent ages researching and read a lot of amazon reviews before deciding!

Thanks. I plan to start researching early so that when Black Friday comes I’ll know which ones I might want!
