I was working on the computer this morning, tv was on in the background. One of the rally commentators was saying how one driver had done really well and spoiled it for the others, and suggested he was a party pooper.
“He’s like the kind of guy that comes to the party and leaves with your girlfriend.”
“And her best friend” chips in his colleague.
AIBU in thinking this is unacceptable? I’m used to being in very male-oriented environments and tend not to get offended often, but this comment just really annoyed me. Or am I just cross because I’m having to work at the weekend?
