Why do tights never fit ?

Why do tights never fit? I have brought tights the size I am, 1-3 sizes above me and 1-2 sizes below my size and yet they never fit properly they always fall down or I end up with baggy knees.

I am plus size and I have even tried maternity tights in case they would help but nothing

Tights are evil and have got to be designed by a man because no woman would of done this !!

I'm 5' 3" and a size 6-8. Tights are a bloody nightmare on me. Most of them come up somewhere close to my nipples!

I find this more when I wear tights with boots, so now I wear footless tights and socks under my boots, problem solved! You can also just cut the feet off an ordinary pair...

I accidently bought shapewear tights from lidl and they stay up! I shall be sticking to the in future.

But snag tights. I’m a 20/22 and 6ft 1. Inside leg of 36” and I get their second from largest size. They’re brilliant. They don’t move. No more pants tights pants. I even wore them whilst pregnant and they were fab. No ladders, no snagging, wash well and they use fully recyclable packaging! Best. Invention. Ever

I have tall skinny legs and similar experiences - tights are either too short for my chicken legs and the crotch hangs down by my knees or they fit fine but are so baggy I'm like Nora Batty.

I think men must design them

I'm 5"8 and a size 18/20 and M&S extra large work perfectly for me! Never had the falling down or baggy tights issue - both sound like they might be too big?

I'm so excited to try snag when they get stock in. I thought I was too big for tights that fit & looking forward to the occasional dress/skirt!
