To want to denounce this woman ?

We have a Xmas church fair. Lots of local crafter sell at this fair and give a percentage of their sales to the church. I know of a woman who sold there but her trick was only to take orders and not actually do any sales so she gave barely nothing to the church. I think she is really cheeky. I have heard she is doing this same fair this year. Should I warn the organisers? I’m not a crafter, she told me and was all proud about herself. What do you all think ?

That's pretty low of her.

It would be hard to prove so why not let the organisers know that someone did this and suggest they charge per table rather than charging a percentage of sales.

I'm with cariad on this. Cheeky bugger

I think anyone who circumvents giving to charity/good causes for personal profit is a pretty scummy person.

So I’d mention it.

I agree with cariadlet, or if you think the church does better from a percentage suggest a percentage of sales AND orders taken.

I organise our church Christmas Market. We're picky about who can have a stall (we like to keep it to 'quality' gifts) and we charge upfront for a stall. If you're selling something really lovely and popular, that's your effort and time making you money. We get our money, and don't worry about how much each stall holder is taking, that's their business. It works for us and our stall holders, and most importantly the buyers. And it means we're not concerning ourselves about people like this. She's more than cheeky, so yes I would tell the organisers and let them decide how to deal with her - they're doing a lot of work on her behalf.
