I don’t see what’s so bad about his wife’s account, not if you actually read everything she wrote. She wrote in her blog about grieving at him, trying to get a reaction out of him because he wasn’t grieving the way she thought he should be. Speaking from experience that is highly manipulative (and agonising to deal with).

She complained about not having shared finances, but in another blog post wrote about how she knew absolutely nothing about managing money and had never taken any interest beyond spending it (she was almost 40 at that point). She complained that he told her her hair would look better platinum, but her blog is loaded with references to him not being attractive and her wanting to change his appearance.
She also wrote about how she decided to marry him because she hated his lifestyle and figured if she was putting up with that she should get a commitment. No surprise a marriage built on that foundation blew up badly.
