My ex is an narcissistic control freak asshole - just to give some background Grin.

He is absolutely against me giving the DC any sugar at all (although he takes them to Kaspas when he feels like it). Last weekend the DC had terrible colds, but he just left them coughing all weekend and refused to give them the cough medicine I sent along, as it has sugar in it, and he wouldn't let them have any. A month ago he threw away their birthday cake (that they baked and decorated) because he didn't want them to have any sugar (on their birthday!).

Soooooo... it's his birthday in a few days' time. WIBU to gift wrap a pack of frozen chicken breasts or fish and label it 'sugar free, gluten free, wheat free, carb free, fat free' and shove it down his bloody throat?

Any suitable gift suggestions, snide comments and PA suggestions very welcome!

Frozen? I’d go for 2 week old fresh ones and ‘accidentally’ obscure the best before date x

Or don’t give him a present at all and Lee your powder dry.

I have to say the gift would be from the DC, not from me - I don't buy him gifts any more - haven't for many years. Last year I bought him a very expensive, lovely t-shirt from the DC, and he said he'd wear it as a work-out t-shirt. I took it back!

Buy him some vegan raw chocolate, like raw halo. It tastes bloody awful.
