DM and I have been hunting this book for years and never got anywhere.
It’s a book about a little girl who grows out of her wellies. Her mum says she needs new ones but she likes her old ones so she plants them to make them grow, she hangs them from a tree with stones in to stretch them etc. Then they’re in a shoe shop with loads of different wellies - some with bows, some with zips etc. Then she gets new wellies and gives her old ones to her little brother. And she’s big enough to jump over the puddles with her new wellies.
I remember it so clearly but can’t find it anywhere! Anyone have any idea? I really want to read it to DS!
