AIBU?
Where should I go...?

I am trying to book somewhere for my 30th birthday next May. Myself and my husband and our 18 month old will be going. We live in Aberdeen, Scotland so it would need to be within driving distance from there, i.e maybe max 6 hours away. Ideally lots of entertainment for our wee one.
We have been to the Cairngorms/Aviemore lots, and up the very North of Scotland, and across to Oban/Mull, Skye, so perhaps not there again.
Have been thinking of Centre Parc, Cumbria? Is it any good?
Or maybe York? Would there by much for a wee one to do?
Is there anywhere I haven’t thought of, that would be excellent?
Thank you, I know this is not AIBU, but I’m here for the traffic.

what about somewhere like this? if you download the brochure off their website and scroll down t gives you a list of all the stuff to do with kids. there are also various types of accommodation depending on what you prefer. www.waveneyrivercentre.co.uk/

Newcastle. Museums including some that are really good for kids (Life Centre, Discovery Museum, Great North Museum), castle to walk around right in the city centre, amazing bridges, good selection of pubs, bars and restaurants. Good for day trips to some lovely beaches (Whitley Bay, Tynemouth). Laing and Baltic Art Galleries. Seven Stories (the national centre for children's books).
