my DD is in year 5 and we've never had any problems with her re friends or anything.

there were 2 totally unrelated incidents last week where mums complained about her though...
1 - a mum rang in the school saying my DD had hurt her DD by shoving her - teacher had a word with my DD and my DD insisted it was an accident as she was just trying to get past to get her bag
2 - a mum approached me on the playground saying my DD had upset her DD by calling her names - my DD says that she didn't say anything

it just doesn't seem in DD character to do that but i cant help thinking what if she did as 2 unrelated things being mentioned in one week seems alot?

aibu to think she is telling the truth and didnt do either of them?

I would keep an open mind to be honest. The fact that she hasn't done anything before doesn't mean she won't in the future, especially as she gets older and hormones kick in (teenagers actually have lower levels of empathy than younger kids!). Could you have a meeting (or quick chat/email) with your DD's teacher and ask for her take on the matter?
