PutYourShirtOnMartin · 01/10/2018 00:12

HicDraconis · 01/10/2018 00:13

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:14

What is mlm?

OP posts:
PutYourShirtOnMartin · 01/10/2018 00:15

Are you selling the books?

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:15

I want to find out so I can buy some popular titles for kids presents

OP posts:
cariadlet · 01/10/2018 00:15

mlm = multi-level marketing ie pyramid schemes

IdahoJones · 01/10/2018 00:16

Why are you on Chat and AIBU, same post? It's a bit odd.

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:16

Thanks. Sorry I had never heard of mlm

OP posts:
tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:17

Thought I would put it on numerous times for traffic

If they're for presents rather than to select stock because you're selling them, why restrict yourself to Usborne books? To be honest, they're ok but there are better picture books out there.

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:18

Not many people look on just childrens books...

Do you mean that you've posted on chat and AIBU for traffic as they are busier than the book forums?

I was wondering why you would only choose Usborne books to buy as presents rather than going to a bookshop and looking at the huge range of picture books available or coming on here and asking parents of children of specific ages what books (by any publisher) their children enjoyed.

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:26

Yes busier forums.
I love all books. I only asking specifically for usborne books now.
I'm not sure whether to get loads of sticker books or maybe magic painting. I like the inside and peek inside range too.

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:27

I'm always in bookshops Blush would just be nice to get other opinions

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:29

I haven't had one reply on children's books forum yet...so I was right

The Apple Tree Farm ones, with Mr and Mrs Boot, Poppy and Sam, and the dog called Rusty.

If those are still published! We used to read them when I was little, and look for the duck.

tessiegirl · 01/10/2018 00:37

I've bought the farmyard tales for dd ready for Christmas. Love them! Grin

How old is dd ?

Oh really? Why is that? It's a very odd thing to do.

steff13 · 01/10/2018 02:21

Usborne do MLM? meh.

I didn't realize you could buy them any other way.

NerrSnerr · 01/10/2018 02:41

You can buy them anywhere. Much cheaper to get the 'That's not my' books etc from the Supermarket or Amazon as they're often on offer.

steff13 · 01/10/2018 02:49

Huh. I didn't know that. I've only ever seen them when someone was selling them.

A lot of my daughter's books came from Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, so we didn't actually buy them.

My current favorite book for my daughter is Mother Bruce. It's hilarious.
