Okay I know this is probably going to sound crazy.. But about 3 months ago my boyfriend and I had protected intercourse but the condom had broken, about fire days later he gave me a plan b so it was just barley late, the I hadn’t gotten my period for 3 months only a little spotting. I would try and try to put it off and eventually I did forget about it, then I finally got it but it was so weird, and only lasted three days, usually my periods are an average flow and regular. But I have a weird deep down feeling that I’m pregnant for some reason. I had symptoms my nipples were hurting, bloating lots of people are noticing me gaining weight spesifically in my lower stomach, and still just nauseous and tired. Any ideas? Has anyone been through anything similar to this?

If you've had a period you're unlikely to be pregnant, however the only way to be certain is to take a test.

The morning after pill (which I'm assuming plan b is) messes up your hormones and cycle for a while so it could just be that. However, the only way to be certain is to a test.

Plan b is emergency contraception. I think it's the American name for the morning after pill. Have you taken a test?

I thought emergency contraception needed to be taken by day 3? Although having said that I have have a friend who took it on day 3 and still got pregnant. Time to poas!

You contraception failed. You took the morning after pill to late. The morning after pill has a lower success rate than other forms of contraception and the later you wait to take it becomes significantly less effective. You have now had no period for 3 months and now have pregnancy symptoms.

You need to take a pregnancy test. It is the only way to find out if you are pregnant. Well you can wee on frog but it is much easy to wee on a pregnancy test.

Hey everyone! Didn’t know where to post or how to make my own as I am new to this!
I am ttc, missed period on the 1st according to app (just came off implant so tracking periods) did a test 8 dpo very very faint positive I thought could of been line eyes but others did see it. Did a test today faint line was there checked again 5 minutes later it’s gone...honestly so confused as to what’s going on! Unsure of how to add pictures of test thanks for any advice xx

What type of test? Clear blue lines fade very quickly whereas others eg first response get darker with time.

A faint positive is a positive.

It was just a pound shop plastic stick one, I am thinking I may just be very early hence the line disappearing?

Sounds like a positive to me! Doesn't really matter if it faded within a few mins, even the clear blue ones do that after a couple of hours. As yours is from a pound shop I wouldn't have thought the lines would have stayed for long.

You're more likely to get a false negative than a false positive x

I hope so! Getting some cramps now so just going to see if I come on in the next 2 days if not I will test again! Had a lot of symptoms though so fingers crossed x
