I can't stand him! I cannot fathom how he as achieved any success, as he seems completely talentless, with an utterly unremarkable voice and bland boring musical style. I think he's just very ambitious and pushed himself.

It even irritates me that his name is pronounced 'mers' when mur is French for wall and is pronounced muir.

He seemed very grateful for the break in life he got via the x Factor, when we saw him in concert. Very humble.

I always get him and Joe Swash mixed up to be honest. For years I thought they were the same person.
