We are away on holiday and my 10 month old baby found a tablet on the floor and put it in her mouth for literally 1 second and I got it out.

It was a small yellow round tablet, that seemed to be dissolving easily.

How bad will this be?? We gave her a drink straight away and she seems totally fine. ShockConfused

It could be a vitamin, but from my uni experience of stupid friends it could also possibly be ecstasy. That’s a big reach though so I wouldn’t worry too much. Echo all PP’s, straight to A&E! I’d flip out if my cat licked a tablet let alone my child

Fiffyshadesofgreymatter · 29/09/2018 19:39

@shinycat

She is not at her house. They are on holiday- it was the first line of the OP. It was found on the floor having been left their by previous guests and the room probably wasn't vacuumed.

DanSullivan · 29/09/2018 19:39

@shinycat
It’s not the OP’s house, they’re in a holiday rental.

shinycat · 29/09/2018 19:40

OH shit sorry!!! I am a twat.

Thelastredwinegum · 29/09/2018 19:40

@shinycat the first sentence says they're on holiday Hmm

shinycat · 29/09/2018 19:41

Sorry OP. I read your OP properly (I thought!)

Hope your baby's OK. Prob just an anti histamine!

shinycat · 29/09/2018 19:42

I know she is on holiday now! And I said sorry GRRRRR!! Hmm

Sorry again OP! Blush

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 29/09/2018 19:43

Looks like Piriton to me.

Thelastredwinegum · 29/09/2018 19:43

@shinycat ooops I was slow to type & didn't see you'd been told a few times & apologised

OP hope little one is okay

YetAnotherThing · 29/09/2018 19:43

There are literally hundreds of small yellow tablets out there. The link above alone lists over 500. Nobody medical/pharmaceutical is going to be able to ID them by sight. Toxicology would take days too so it’s most likely they’ll just check her over now, tell you to keep a close eye on her and bring her back if anything changes. Good luck though and don’t beat yourself up.

shakeyourcaboose · 29/09/2018 19:46

Possibly a vit D dispersible?

sueelleker · 29/09/2018 19:48

Don't know if it's still published, but there used to be a compendium of drugs called 'MIMS'; which had pictures and sizes of all proprietary drugs.

Candlelights2345 · 29/09/2018 19:52

Hope it’s just something like a dissolvable vit c 🤞

shinycat · 29/09/2018 19:52

That's OK winegum, I'm only pissing about! Grin

I'm too fucking dumb to read the OP properly anyway haha Grin

shinycat · 29/09/2018 19:53

Please come back @moneyquestion2405 when you can, and let us know your kiddie is OK!

Pieceofpurplesky · 29/09/2018 20:03

Tiredtomybones · 29/09/2018 20:04

Flowers hope she's ok.

lilyblue5 · 29/09/2018 20:10

Googling on your behalf OP but can’t see anything similar.. hope the hospital and identify it and get your baby sorted ASAP!

Serialweightwatcher · 29/09/2018 20:15

Looks like piriton to me too - my dog has them everyday (for humans but dog can take them) and they dissolve very easily, as i found when I dropped loads into his water by accident - hope all is well x

MrsRubyMonday · 29/09/2018 20:35

Clonazepam come in yellow sometimes and dissolve very quickly

Rachie1986 · 29/09/2018 20:38

Are you at the hospital OP?

sleepylittlebunnies · 29/09/2018 20:42

It looks like chlorphenamine to me but it usually has some markings present. Hopefully A&E nurses will be able to identify it.

DrunkOnCalpol · 29/09/2018 20:49

It could be a vitamin, but from my uni experience of stupid friends it could also possibly be Ecstasy

Ecstasy has an extremely disgusting taste, the baby would definitely have reacted strongly to the taste if it was that.

LeonoraFlorence · 29/09/2018 21:22

Hope little one is okay, OP.
