They're not fangs.

They're pedipalps.

A pair of appendages, either side of the jaws which help them manipulate prey and feed themselves.

WTFIsAGleepglorp · 02/10/2018 19:09

Actual proper woodlouse spiders have visible fangs between the pedipalps. 😱

OP YANBU! That's a baby!

Celestia26 · 02/10/2018 20:04

Meant to say YABU. Bloody autocorrect!

MissionItsPossible · 02/10/2018 20:31

Why are people posting pictures of small spiders and saying they are big? 😂

ShamelesslyPlacemarking · 02/10/2018 20:34

Out of sight is out of mind.

When it comes to spiders, my motto is more along the lines of “The only thing worse than finding a giant spider in your house is losing sight of a giant spider in your house”

Frosty66611 · 02/10/2018 20:37

I hate when I find one in my house and realise that it’s probably been a few inches away from me for weeks/months

UghFletcher · 02/10/2018 20:57

I once lived in a 500 year old farmhouse and there were some horrendously large beasts which crawled out of fireplaces and various nooks and crannies. The cat usually swiftly dealt with them but I always had a heavy book to hand in case the cat was outside exploring.

Conkers in corners work. I don't care what anyone says, they do. I'm glad of the spiders on the windows outside at the moment, they are protecting us from the massive hornets currently attempting to find a home for winter. Mind you, not welcome indoors. No Sireeeeee
