That's why I don't think entire threads should have been deleted, because it is too easy for things to become twisted if they are.

The cleaning ladies had a fall out?! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I like TOMM as she seems really a busy mum who is normal. I like meal planners too although I’ve yet to achieve that level of mumskill myself. I can dream. But the accounts with a message or point the related #ads are so much more tolerable. The ones just in it for freebies/wealth/famous kids are so fake.

As I said, I haven't been on the last few threads. From the ones I've been on, she's said she doesn't have a problem with Instamums featuring their children (think I've got that right put me right if not please @sofialemon) - what was quoted before I'd never seen from her though.

Ahh sorry! Thank you. I have found the account has become one I struggle with and after trying to express my unease was suspended. I replied to MNHQ with 3 different comments still on the thread and they said they did contravene talk guidelines and could I report them so they could look, which I replied no, because I’m suspended...
the thing is, discussion appears to be desired and simply fuels the account so it really seems best to avoid.

I’m finding the whole influencer role and it’s affect on me quite interesting. I’ve unfollowed a lot of the mum wall posers who simply became hawkers, and many do still ‘gift’ which annoys me as it’s not a gift it’s a bribe. I like the accounts who have a message or point and the products etc are related to what they do and review style or they use the products.

I use insta as a kind of replacement to buying fashion and interiors magazines, the ads and "gifts" don't bother me. If anyone I follow starts promoting too many brands that I don't believe they would genuinely buy then I unfollow.

I think over the last 6-12 months instagrammers have become a lot more transparent. I used to see loads of posts and stories that were blatantly ads but there'd be no #ad, I rarely find that now.

I have read the other threads, never said otherwise. I've been on a lot of them as you know. I also said that I haven't been on the past few. I've been reading them, but not on them.

This is aibu. Sofia, Cady, Minty are all welcome just as much as anyone else imo. Let's not get into all of the conspiracy stuff. I said it on a previous thread too - if they are instamums, it doesn't matter. No-one has to disclose who they are on here. Carole included!

I've read all the threads. I haven't been on the last few. I said I hadn't seen any posts from sofia saying what she'd supposedly said. That turned out she'd never said in the first place anyway.

I think some of the ads are really badly thought through. Did anyone see the infamous Listerine one? Surely that ad was designed to generate publicity and lo and behold sales, because it just can't have been serious.

Yes! I'm all for that. (Honestly.) No personal attacks or whatevs from me for disagreeing with anything and I won't argue back lol.
No telling me I'm boring or autistic (yes,seriously or a secret Instamum stifling discussion if I discuss the things that are supposedly being discussed in the first place.
