Can we ignore Cady and Minty. Clearly just here to goad, whip up bitchiness and close down the discussion, as they've tried in the past. Long suspected to be instamums themselves (I'm assuming Minty is a name change from another usual poster by the way). We were having a good discussion about some actual progress from ASA on ad transparency and they've tried to derail. Without sounding too bossy, they're free to their opinion of course, but please, please don't get dragged down to their level and respond to their nonsense. As for 'her who can't be named', I do think reddit or wherever else, is best for that as Mumsnet are clearly threatened by her.

I haven't been on the last few threads at all and you've (collective you) managed to get them shut down all by yourselves because they just descend into madness.

Why post these tedious threads in AIBU? Post them elsewhere - off the beaten track maybe? Then you can bitch away without ordinary posters - ie me - stumbling across them. I've also only ever contributed to 2 threads, this being one of them.

I do actually enjoy these threads for any actual discussion, but people reallllly don't like that as I've usually got the differing opinion as the majority! Go figure.

Just been catching up on my insta stories

I'm astonished at how much cleaning stuff Mrs Hinch has been sent! These companies (Unilever,Dunelm, astonishetc) have sent her boxfulls which she will obvs use

Products across the UK have been selling out and Hinch mania is everywhere ( I'm late to the party,just started to follow her)

Makes you realise the power of insta....they are all desperate to get Mrs Hinch on board. Cheaper than a tv ad and more effective!

Some press coverage, that's all I've seen. Interestingly The Independent reported that research shows engagement with an influencer's normal posts versus their sponsored posts is the same, so it does make you wonder why they bother hiding it in the first place.

The Hinch phenomenon is crazy! I'm trying to actively cut back on all the chemicals I use so she's not for me, but she's really captured a market in a way many others before her have never done. Who knew cleaning could be so lucrative?!

She's onto a winner!!

I predict her own range of cleaning products and an app by middle of next year!

I really feel like there are there is a media culture which supports the instamums. They all live in a vacuum. Probably a vacuum with walls painted with F&B paint.

I didn't read all the posts on this thread and have dipped in and out of the previous ones. However must say there is certain ones I have had to actively not look at, as if they're being relatable with 10 insta stories about the one day a week they have to get up for work... Combined with major sponsored posts which aren't marked which I wouldn't believe would of been purchased by choice.

I love Mrs Hinch! She motivates my lazy arse to do some cleaning, she's giving me my mojo back. So I luffs her.
Think it's her personality as well. She' comes across as so down to earth and "nice."

I have a soft spot for Mrs Hinch too. Her growth in followers has been phenomenal. I can't say exactly why she appeals to me, it is a bit bamboozling to be honest.

I've never actually seen her!! All I know is her voice from the bits I've watched

She's good but not that good cos I've not quite fallen in love with cleaning just yet!
