In all honesty I found mumsnet through Instagram... I’d had an account years ago and not been that much of a user. Refund it through Instagram and now use both.

I commented on the insta and agree with @glagdy. I feel quite protective about mumsnet and the way it's dismissed out of hand as having no purpose...... I was raging this morning.

@wannabestressfree yes, when what really is the ‘point’ of most accounts on Instagram? How is one more valid than the other? And in fact the point of most of them is to make money and flog something, whether that’s for their own product or they’ve been paid. People here on the whole don’t have an ulterior motive.

An account was swiftly unfollowed by me this morning for a paid ad with Aptimal formula. That was a step too far for me. Follow on milk does nothing but line the pockets of milk companies. Just get off my feed.

In fact why doesn’t Instagram charge them? Like eBay? How come it’s free to use for those making thousands of £ out of it?

Just bought a job lot of ‘fruit of the loom’ sweaters.
