@Charlie97

I'm so sorry that you are so detached from reality. I'm not sure what went wrong in your life for you to have got a point of making such horrific toast based choices.

Do you know what? I'm just done! I'm hiding this thread I can take anymore of this madness!

AhYeahOkayThen · 28/09/2018 14:07

But it does have butter on it...peanut butter. HTH. Grin

Ellie56 · 28/09/2018 14:10

MN we need a vomit emoticon.

Cold water, skimmed milk and a teabag in the microwave! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!

Slatternsdelight · 28/09/2018 14:12

As long as we can at least be united by the tea making offence

MereDintofPandiculation · 28/09/2018 15:12

He got the peanut butter bit right, peanut butter instead of ordinary butter. What he got wrong was that he forgot the marmalade.

Charlie97 · 28/09/2018 15:40

I'm not even prepared to discuss the incident, I'm not sure @Slatternsdelight how you can use the phrase "tea making" to describe that! You need to look to yourself!

@CripsSandwiches I'm not backing down on this, I'm right!!!

Winterbella · 28/09/2018 15:45

Butter is essential with peanut butter because of the melting factor, I won't be swayed from this fact by anyone. Also YANBU LTB! Grin

hellsbellsmelons · 28/09/2018 15:48

he put cold water, skimmed milk (clutches face in horror) and a teabag all in together then microwaved the whole thing
WHATTTTTT????????
Walks away shaking head in utter disbelief!

RibbonAurora · 28/09/2018 15:54

If my husband even thought about offering me anything involving peanut butter, well, let's just say they'd never find the body.

As for the tea thing, not saying you're a troll, OP, but you over-egged it there. You can't honestly expect us to believe that your first thought was to post about such an egregious act on mumsnet instead of alerting the authorities and having this dangerous perpetrator of crimes against tea taken off the streets.

MrsMoastyToasty · 28/09/2018 15:59

I have suffered in the same way. My DH bought smooth peanut butter, when he knows that the only peanut butter I will eat is the crunchy stuff.

ednclouda · 28/09/2018 18:28

yno what I blame his mother!!! no butter with peanut butter and do not get me started on the microwave TEA debacle just trashy

we girls are with you xxxx

Thighofrelief · 28/09/2018 18:38

OP - you sound unhinged, are you on your period? Seriously your poor dear husband did something lovely for you. Take a good look at yourself, I'm reporting you.

myphoneisgone · 28/09/2018 18:39

If he was making toast for his boss he would have buttered it. He didn't butter it for you as he doesn't respect you.

LTB.

Thighofrelief · 28/09/2018 18:41

Are you sure the children are yours? Get a DNA test ASAP!

5bobaweek · 28/09/2018 18:42

You sound controlling OP Grin

Greyponcho · 28/09/2018 18:42

Making tea like that?!
Its not safe to be around someone like that, take the DC and DPets to your DMs now and flee

MrsMozart · 28/09/2018 18:44

Argh Shock

Run lass. Run fast!

Thighofrelief · 28/09/2018 18:45

Does he have MH issues or SN? There's got to be a backstory......just waiting for the dripfeed now.

Armchairanarchist · 28/09/2018 18:45

My very first LTB.

Monstrous · 28/09/2018 18:47

Massive red flag here OP. Next he’ll tell you that there was butter on there but that you didn’t notice it before you ate it...
Look up the term narcissistic incompetent cock lodger - there will be info to help you there.
Deffo do not do the “toast is shite” dance. A bloke of this standard deserves no reward....

Thighofrelief · 28/09/2018 18:48

In some cultures this is normal. What did his mother wear to your wedding?

KatKit16 · 28/09/2018 18:50

Oh this thread has made my day! You ladies are a riot 😀

Oysterbabe · 28/09/2018 18:56

There's almost no food that isn't improved by adding butter. If you're unsure, use the butter.

What a goady post OP, are you a journalist? I find it suspicious you didn't mention the brand of toaster.
