I keep being told how big my bump is for 34+5 (ish). MN, am I enormous? Is this a massive bump or is everyone lying to me? Grin I love my bump so will in no way take offence if you say 'yes you're a whale!!' I am just slightly concerned that I could have over 7 weeks left and am not sure what state this pregnancy is going to leave my already over stretched body in...

Don't usually post things like this but following from another thread, wondered what the consensus was.

Slightly miffed about the enormous stretch marks but hey ho...

I know IABU to even compare myself to others but I'm feeling rather rotund!

You look lovely. Congratulations and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and little squish when he/she arrives

AhoyDelBoy · 28/09/2018 10:28

Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy. It’s hard working towards the end! I was lucky enough to stop working at 31 weeks.

NellWilsonsWhiteHair · 28/09/2018 10:28

It's a beautiful bump! Yeah I would say that's big (bigger than I was at full term (39+6/38+5) either pregnancy). Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and all best wishes for the birth and beyond. Flowers

WeeklyWarrior is actually smuggling ostrich eggs Grin

Aprilshowersnowastorm · 28/09/2018 10:32

You should look into the bump art thing, be great on that bump!!

Enko · 28/09/2018 10:32

Its a neat and tidy bump though (as in all bump)

Op I didn't grow much in my last part of pregnancy I tend to put on the weight earlier on.

My Best friend however grew hugely in the last part of pregnancy..

Sorry not helpful

DoAsYouWouldBeMumBy · 28/09/2018 10:34

Yeah, that's a proper bump Grin
I'll be honest, mine got so, so much bigger in the last few weeks. I grew out of my maternity clothes. And my baby was very huge BlushBlush

But everyone is different, and you are obviously very gorgeous!! Nice healthy babe in there waiting to meet you properly Smile

problembottom · 28/09/2018 10:36

Yes it's a big bump! I'm 27 weeks and mine is smaller but I've expanded in every which way sadly. I'd prefer a neat and tidy bump.

CrystalMethHog · 28/09/2018 10:39

Wow Shock that bump is amazing! Beautiful!

Nightwatch999 · 28/09/2018 10:42

Awww it's lovely. Congratulations OP, I can imagine things starting to be uncomfortable now?

BonfiresOfInsanity · 28/09/2018 10:43

You look like I did with both of mine. Carried everything at the front. DS2 was over 10lbs though. Grin

BonfiresOfInsanity · 28/09/2018 10:44

I could sit a pint on my bump and it not fall over, twas like a spare shelf.

disclaimer - I was not drink pints of alcohol before anyone starts.

IKnowWhatThisIsLike · 28/09/2018 10:45

Yes that is a good sized bump. FWIW I measured more than 40weeks (enormous bump) at 37 weeks and I remember being worried seeing the midwife write expected >10lb baby >90% percentile on my notes.... - my baby was born at 41 weeks and was less than 8lb - it was all fluid

TooTrueToBeGood · 28/09/2018 10:48

It's a lovely bump. I think it possibly looks bigger than it is because the reat of your figure is great.

Snowymountainsalways · 28/09/2018 10:50

Enjoy your bump and take lots of photos. I missed mine afterwards.

Mayhemmumma · 28/09/2018 10:51

Its a perfect bump. But yeah...it gets a lot bigger in my experience.

ALemonyPea · 28/09/2018 10:51

That’s a beautiful bump. You look fab.

My third pregnancy, I had one huge bump. I measured 4’6” in girth the day before I had my c section.

Bluntness100 · 28/09/2018 10:51

Ah, are you having a boy? They say boys are all at the front, girls you gain all round.

bizzers · 28/09/2018 10:52

It looks lovely OP! Especially with that dress Smile

EnglishRose13 · 28/09/2018 10:52

36 week bump and due date bump. I felt huge!

6.15 baby.

MadameJosephine · 28/09/2018 10:53

As long as your midwife is happy then ignore others, you are growing that baby beautifully, well done!

GoldenMcOldie · 28/09/2018 10:53

I dont think you will go to 42 weeks. You could feasibly have 3 or 4 weeks to go.

Your bump is just perfect.

Pixiedust2017 · 28/09/2018 10:53

From my experience it looks normal.
But I had a customer tell a member of staff working with me that she should "go get a bucket as she is about to pop any minute" at 5 months... Apparently my bump was also rather large.
As long as measurements are fine I wouldn't worry :)

bsbabas · 28/09/2018 11:25

Its a good thing that its that big !!!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 28/09/2018 11:31

Well you're tiny compared to me. I wasnt that much smaller that you at 3 months and DD was only a little scrap a thing.6lb 10oz
