Rule of thumb- fast moving thread, with live updates, where everyone is ramping up the drama, and loads of new to MN posters pile in to agree with the OP, and there's a hefty dose of racism/ageism/sexism/disablism in there, (and of course a diagram it's the perv troll.

I actually thought badly of myself on that thread- because I read the OP and thought "so? bloke is having a cup of tea and his dressing gown is too short, don't look" Then I thought "hold on, in what kind of position must someone be sitting, wearing a dressing gown, short or not, opposite you, for you to notice?" Then all the "OMFG he is a sexual predator" posts started and I reproached myself for not taking her seriously.
