to wonder if there are russian trolls on the brexit threads

there seem to be a lot of brexit threads saying 'im a remainer but now I want to leave ...' etc. All the remainers I know in real life are even more ardently remain as the deadline comes closer. So where does this sentiment come from? If I were a troll trying to influence UK politics to leave, this is exactly the line I would take. So could there be trolls? and are mumsnet HQ looking out for them?

Very likely there are trolls or paid shills. Happens a lot round elections, too. But who's paying them is another matter. Could be the Brexit bunch of the ilk of Arron Banks, now in the frame for (allegedly) misusing personal data from his insurance company. Then again, it's not impossible some of the money funding the Brexit bunch came from Russia – some of it is certainly very murky.
