Just got into my car to do the school run-(not parked right outside) , glanced at my front door and see a man standing there, stared at him while he put out his cigarette in the ashtray my ds keeps tucked beside a plant pot!! Then he walked off!!

I think I've been a CF today...by accident. A school mum friend emailed me a draft copy of her leaflet for her new company. It was a group email and I scanned the email quick before opening the attachment. I thought she had said to give her my opinion so 1 wrote her an a4 page of what I liked and didn't and suggestions on how to improve it and clicked send as I was late for school run. Didn't see her at school so checked emails to see she hadn't replied. When I re-read and realised she had wrote here's the final draft if there any spelling errors please let me know.

I'm a CF....by accident. I'll look at the floor when I do school pick up from now on.

silvercuckoo · 24/09/2018 18:02

@dustarr73 Maybe I was not too precise in my description, I (and everyone else) had the online booking / reservation (through one of the booking platforms), which is scanned then at the physical ticket desk at the venue and actual paper tickets are issued.

RubyFlint · 24/09/2018 18:04

@silvercuckoo the brass neck!!

dustarr73 · 24/09/2018 18:05

@Silvercuckoo,i reread it and then realised.i read it arseways

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 24/09/2018 18:07

I was an accidental CF today. Queuing at self service and the staff member says there's a cash only till available, asks everyone in the queue if they're paying by cash. The 7 or so people in front of me said no, so he beckoned me over. Only for someone to decide they would pay by cash, getting to the till first and him ferrying me to a different till, both of us rather embarrassed.

RudeZebra · 24/09/2018 18:08

Thats theft,i would be going ot the police
No, it's not

Toastiesalldaylong · 24/09/2018 18:09

@FiveNightsAtMummys I'm sorry for laughing but 😂😂😂😂 bless you! I'd text a massive apology now 😂 tbf at least if she is still looking for spelling issues she has time to change it if she agrees with your points!

PawneeParksDept · 24/09/2018 18:10

The woman I keep meeting in the precinct with the yappy aggressive dogs who apparently feels repeatedly entitled to comment on my appearance and the fact that I'm apparently "miserable looking"

OhLookHeKickedTheBall · 24/09/2018 18:11

Blimey silver that's amazing CFery

Sweetpea55 · 24/09/2018 18:11

CF old lady next door rang me to say her toilet was blocked and could i sort it out, Apparently everyone else was busy/out of town.I go round with my rubber plunger..She didnt tell me that the lav had been blocked for 3 days.

PawneeParksDept · 24/09/2018 18:13

@silvercuckoo I would not be able to let that go, kudos to you for rising above

PecanPastry · 24/09/2018 18:21

Go to the supermarket after the morning school run with my youngest in tow, bit of a mad rush so I'm literally sporting bedhead hair that I've tried unsuccessfully to throw up into a messy bun - it just looks a mess - also wearing old jeans, but have on nice enough coat and trainers. Go to look in reduced bit (everyone loves a bargain, right?) and another Mum with a smaller child, who has obviously spent hours getting ready that morning and has perfectly flawless makeup, literally looks me up and down as I walk past her to get to reduced bit. Grrr......

dustarr73 · 24/09/2018 18:22

@Rudezebra what is it then.I wouldnt count a 5 grand painting as a small keepsake.Would you?

PecanPastry · 24/09/2018 18:22

@silvercuckoo I think I'd go bananas if I didn't say something

silvercuckoo · 24/09/2018 18:23

I will probably let it go. They definitely did not do it to steal the tickets - they are very well off. And then a question of plausible deniability. It could be that they arrived early to spend more time and then a child was suddenly taken ill. One cannot also discount hackers breaking into one of other guests' emails and - look, free tickets! - taking their evil hacker family for a day out. Many possibilities really. I'll probably just spit in their tea next time they are around my place. Friendship is friendship, after all.

PecanPastry · 24/09/2018 18:23

@Toastiesalldaylong so sorry for your loss, what an insensitive CF

prh47bridge · 24/09/2018 18:29

Prince Andrew for demanding we fork out £2m for his DD's wedding

He has done no such thing. We always pay the security bill for royal weddings. Some MPs are saying he should pay the security bill for Eugenie's wedding or she should have a less public wedding involving fewer celebrities but he hasn't demanded anything. At worst, those organising the wedding have assumed that the normal security arrangements should apply.

CoraPirbright · 24/09/2018 18:31

Oh silvercuckoo you are a better person than I am!! I would HAVE to mention it even just in passing, in a non-confrontational to watch if they squirm. They need to know that you know!!

Justkeeprollingalong · 24/09/2018 18:39

Oh come on @silvercuckoo you can't be that nice, of course you must say something!

YouTheCat · 24/09/2018 18:41

This is why they have plenty of money, Silvercuckoo, because they take advantage of people's generosity.I'd be asking them for the price of the tickets.

ShirleyPhallus · 24/09/2018 18:41

@silvercuckoo They’re taking you for a ride - you must say something!!

MyShinyWhiteTeeth · 24/09/2018 18:44

I've been a CF today. But will get flowers and chocolates sent to make up for it. I assumed a favour would be okay but needed to actually ask. It's hard to not take people for granted if they are always willing to help when asked.

Reaa · 24/09/2018 21:15

@silvercuckoo They used you for a free day out Sad you did not deserve to be treated that way.

BeetlebumShesAGun · 24/09/2018 21:31

I needed this today. Was going to an appointment in the centre of my village. As usual it’s packed with commuter cars. I drove past the car park, it was full. Turned around on on my way back past the car park I noticed a car just about to leave. So I waited at the entrance with my indicator on so the car could leave (it’s a very small car park!) As soon as the car had left a woman in a stupidly large Range Rover zoomed along from the opposite direction and straight into the space! She definitely saw me. My jaw dropped and she just shrugged. People here are so fucking annoying with their massive cars.

delphguelph · 24/09/2018 21:32

No one's pissed me off today actually
