AIBU to wish a new circle of hell for the inventor of Costa's Bonfire Spice Latte?

Bonfire Spice Latte... the smell promises the same amazing experience as Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice but the taste is like stinging vile tooth medicine.

Why was this considered a good thing?

I love Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice and Toffee Nut Latte, and I normally love Costa's festive/Autumn drinks but I couldn't drink the bonfire spiced it was

Black Forest hot chocolate has been in the Christmas menu for the last 2 years so hopefully it will be back again. (Runs off to message friend who is a manager at costa)

I'm glad I'm not alone! The vending machine had a large option so odd that the normal shops don't.

The Costa Christmas cups were quite pretty last year.

There is a small chain of coffee shops in Bristol who do red velvet got chocolate at Christmas. It's like Turkish Delight and (if you like Turkish delight which I do) one of the most amazing drinks ever. I feel like Edmund on the white queens sleigh.....

Good news Black Forest hot chocolate is a best seller and is expected back in November.

Oh god, I had a Bonfire latte at the weekend and it was absolutely revolting. It tastes like hot syrupy metal. So gross. Pumpkin spice lattes are lovely but I always have half a serving of syrup as otherwise they're a bit too strongly flavoured.

I tried a pumpkin spiced latte the other day, not an experience I will repeat and I will avoid the bonfire one too now. But the absolute worst I have tasted was a green tea latte, I should have known better! I only managed one sip and took it back so they could dispose of it, the guy gave me another drink free and apologised for not warning me they were horrible!

My favourite is hot chocolate with hazelnut syrup, tastes like Ferraro Rocher mmmmm. I do like the Black Forest ones as well, but they’re nicer drinking in a mug rather than in a takeaway cup.

I generally hate their winter special drinks, with the exception if the black forest hot chocolate and mint hot chocolate ones they've done. Usually when a coffee chain 'spice'anything, its a fail.

It's chai and toffee. Not so yummy.
The new hazelnut praline is nice though.
