To feel ridiculously proud of myself?

I suffer with depression and have really let my house get on top of me, some rooms were bordering on hoarder territory. This week I have disposed of 30 black bags of rubbish (from one room Blush) and now have one completely clean, free from crap room. It’s spurring me on massively to do the rest and I finally feel like something has shifted in me and I can do this, I can have a clean, properly organised house. I know it’s a small thing in the grand scheme but it’s making me so happy and proud I had to have a little crow, hope you don’t mind Smile

Didn’t dare come on first thing as I knew I would end up MNing all morning instead of cleaning, wasn’t really feeling it today tbh. But.....bookcase is almost empty, have cleaned as I went along so one more shelf to clear and it can go upstairs once DH is home to help me (it’s a huge bookcase). Will have a break for lunch once it’s done and then I’m going to start on wardrobes this afternoon Smile

Really glad I cracked on with it today, took some willpower this morning to get started but I didn’t want to lose momentum. Won’t get a lot done tomorrow as have a shopping trip planned with my lovely DM so wanted to start the week with something productive.

Music is essential @Pashazade, Linkin Park are doing it for me today Grin Right, have had my cuppa, time to crack on!

Starting to think I might actually quite like that Its, always thought I hated cleaning but am really enjoying it for some obscure reason! Bookcase is done and in its new place, have made a decent start on my wardrobe and I spontaneously decided to do DD’s while I was on so got 4 black bags of clothes for the charity shop so far Smile Wondering now if I’ve missed my calling, maybe I should have been a cleaner! Shock

It is quite a turning point isn't it? I was feeling over whelmed by everything in my life but had a mini whirlwind declutter, just a few cupboards and all the broken toys, outgrown clothes and other totally useless items. I feel a little more in control which makes me more organised.
