I don't get why people stockpile cleaning stuff! I have 1 bottle Zoflora, 1 bleach , 1 Mr Muscle bathroom cleaner, 1 Mr Muscle window cleaner, 1 bottle of fairy liquid! Would rather have money sitting in my bank instead of my cupboard.

Just saw Gemma’s story there. Am unfollowing Mrs h now. It’s gone beyond ridiculous at this stage.

Whats happened with Mrs Hinch?? I watch her stories on IG she always seems really that must sound rather naiive

Another instagrammer who posts about cleaning like Mrs Hinch, in August posted about the dangers of mixing chemicals and now she gets daily abuse by the ‘hinch army’ saying she is copying/slating her. This lady messaged mrs hinch to say basically “hold up whats going on here I haven’t done anything” and mrs hinch replied back saying she believes that she is trying to slate her etc.

Pretty ridiculous and ive now unfollowed mrs hinch and follow this other lady (@theorganisedmum) instead as she actually seems to have more sense than mrs hinch.

Just seen TOMM vid. Poor Gemma!! I checked the Hinch feed and she hasn't done anything to stop it. How shitty. Also watched Mrs Hinch cook- full packets and using your hob as a table top is a give away that you DON'T cook. No one who used their hob regularly could be faffed with keeping a vase on it. Not remembering the recipe... more likely she's lifted it straight off bbc good food! Why no swipe up Mrs H? I'm sure you put all the best in it.

I really feel for Gemma , she seems lovely and down to earth.
The pack mentality of the "hinch army" is ridiculous. These are grown women that are being encouraged by Mrs Hinch!

I've been looking through the comments on Mrs Hinch's last post and it is very odd. I still think she has bought followers/comments because there is an awful lot of comments tagging other people saying "oh this is who I was talking about you must follow Mrs Hinch" and then you look who they tag & it is a private account. Lots & lots of these comments going back through her grid. I could be entirely wrong, but it's suspicious.

What is it about all these instagram gurus that makes them feel they are so special and untouchable they can do/say/post whatever they want and absolutely no-one can question it?

Mrs Hinch, according to the 'army' her advice is far superior to any chemist and mixing chemicals in a dangerous way is absolutely fine and should be applauded. MOD wore jewellery once so now she's a jewellery designer but no-one is to mention the independent designer her range copies and all comments referencing this will be deleted/ignored.

Fuck I didn't know Gemma (teamtomm) messaged her and got abuse back.

What a fucking child this woman is.

The thing with social media is that it should be a community - and that includes other influencers supporting one another and being a bit of a collective, working together and being positive.

A feud may generate some ‘support’ (or dissent) from your own followers but will ultimately be damaging long term because there will be no other influencers to have a relationship with. Social media success thrives with collaboration not competition.

Thanks for summarising for me, that sounds awful and so childish, we all know we use too many chemicals its not something ppl have to get defensive about. Plus she does use soda crystals and white vinegar so why would she take it so personally??

i know, its weird! this poor lady hasnt done anything to mimic hinch in the slightest, she said she even gets crap for using flash products in her bathroom because hinch does it... im pretty sure most people use that, haha

bloody mob mentality, its quite strange, ive seen a few friends of mine starting to post pics of their basic cleaning items with #HinchArmy and its a bit... creepy... did these women not clean before mrs hinch?!

Poor Gemma gets bashed for using Flash & for cutting back on zoflora. She'll be in the shit for using anything at all next!

I also found Mrs Hinch isn't a good narrator. I'm sure for some people that's part of the charm but I found it made her harder to watch.

I must admit that I did think that Gemma maybe was taking a couple of swipes at Mrs H in the past. The post about buying followers etc, but the whole thing has got way out of hand.
Its cleaning accounts, none of it matters and grown women messaging Gemma to be nasty are pathetic. Mrs H should have put a stop to that and could have done.

It makes me laugh how she gets all upset over a few people calling her out on her bullshit and for people commenting on her negatively yet she's happy to allow her army to hound these people and get all 'emosh' as she's got a whole army fighting her battles. She's a disgusting person with no morals. I'm glad people are starting to reveal who she really is.

I do think she's buying followers as her post likes just don't add up to nearly a million followers. Nor do the live figures.

I will sit and wait until the whole thing comes crashing down around her when people realise what a narcissistic money grabbing bore she really is.

The Facebook group has tons of interaction, for a start.
She makes it fun. She's uplifting. You can't help but smile watching her stories. Not getting the crashing bore comment upthread, totally different take on her here.

How would you even start "putting a stop to people sending messages?" If people are prone to being obsessive or possessive or whatever, they would be regardless of whether she told them to stop or not.
Totally wrong for people to do it, but I don't see how she could stop that really. One of her stories the other week DID in fact say it wasn't on to do that. If people still are, not seeing what else she can do.

She just has to say something and I am sure the army would take heed. Gemma said she messaged her and Mrs H claimed that she was waging some sort of campaign against her didn’t she?

I don’t get the army thing at all, always seems to attract the mob type.

I'm starting to wonder if Mrs Hinch is actually the face of a genius marketing campaign by Unilever or Procter and Gamble.

To go from 45k to almost a million followers, get on prime daytime TV, coverage in almost all tabloid papers, and grow a cult like team of devotees in 6 weeks seems absolutely remarkable when other influencers doing much more interesting things have nowhere near that number of followers.

The Hinch army is possibly spearheaded by a paid team of content seeders and it has the hallmarks of a professional PR campaign behind it too.

I mean I just watched the woman scrub a shitload of watered down fabric softener onto her sofa

I haven't looked into the parent companies of the products used but I wouldn't be surprised if almost all of them are by one company...?
